Excursie naar museum “den aanwas” in Ossendrecht, Text by Judith

Op vrijdag 20 January 2017, om 9.30 hour we left: Marc, Dominique, Walter, Robert_Jan, Toon H, Martin, John D, Ralph, Karen, Jolanda, Michael, Mayckel, Robin, Years , Cathelijne en Judith.

The museum is housed in a property 1743. Everything there is to see is from that time. On the ground floor we saw an old-fashioned kitchen, an ironing room, couches, een washok en nog veel meer!

Very special was a room dedicated to 2 famous inhabitant esters of Ossendrecht namely Princess Paulientje, Mensje the smallest ever in the world, and Sister Marie Adolphine. Karen and Jolanda were not omnipresent in this Dots! In de kelder zagen we een tentoonstelling van archeologische vondsten, waar ook munten lagen die vlakbij Lohengrin zijn gevonden….dit vond Dominique erg interessant! On the top floor we were surprised by a real village square with old crafts. Very nice! Aan de reacties te zien heeft iedereen genoten van deze leuke uitstapjes. Meer info op www.hkk-zuidkwartier.nl
