Rainy - but cozy – Saint John party
For the second year in a row we celebrated Saint John “in miniature”, without partners and children. But different from last year: again with our volunteers. The rainy weather couldn't stop us, under our great tent we were dry!
Like every year, employees and volunteers prepared the most delicious dishes for each other and the residents. Also the kitchen team of Titurel, with Laurens as captain of the day, didn't miss out and spoiled us with stuffed eggs and delicious tomato soup.
We sang together, a story was told, the brave leaped over the fire. We tested each other's strength and pulled together on the other end of a rope, until 'the other side' was drawn over the line :).
We stopped at it 12,5 year of living anniversary of one of our residents and the equally long work anniversary of some colleagues. There were also flowers and applause for our colleagues who obtained diplomas. In short: we had a nice and cozy party!
