Culture Class captivated by Van Gogh, written by Janny, photos by Sil

The culture class we assist various topics silent, we provide some variation by working out a theme in several ways. This time our theme of the painter Vincent van Gogh. We have redrawn a number of his paintings and works colored. In the classroom there are beautiful art books on the life and work of Van Gogh and we have studied his life.

As icing on the cake we visited 11 march “Vincent Van Gogh house” Zundert. Get, through interactive displays and many photos, a look at his life and surroundings. Also there is a shop with all kinds of items where the work of Van Gogh in return. The garden is decorated with an exhibition of other artists with the theme “The world through the eyes of Vincent Van Gogh”.

It was an interesting and informative morning where we got hold of the feeling how Vincent lived and worked. Nice detail is that our Jonah resembles Vincent in his younger years. There was a large picture of him and the resemblance was striking.
