Agge mar leut et!! door Yvonne

On Tuesday morning 28 February, Anita and Mijke together took to the attic to find the curtains and red handkerchiefs. Fortunately, they could still find a few things. Why? Well for vastenavend parade in the course Krabbegat!!

With many residents we are to 13:00 you left for the Krabbegat, with our handkerchiefs and curtains. We were all together a good place at the start of the parade, the Empire Buurtstraat with a beautiful view of the gatehouse. The advertising parade was almost over when we arrived but soon came the first musical sounds that brought us all equal in Leut vote!

was the motto of this year; Da’s D’n Aard van ’T Beesje, and we have seen a lot beesjes, of a fallen donkey or 8 meter to space creatures and goblins to soldiers guarding the leut, it was all over. Tim stood in front too admire this beauty, Participants of the parade enjoyed our enthusiasm and some residents were also involved in the acts.

A small 2 hours later, all the beauty gone by and it was time to warm up in a nice cafe after we first have quickly made a group photo with the purple double-decker bus Foundation. In the café we have good footing with drunk Dobbertje at mooring.

We look back on a very pleasant afternoon, Cor and I agree; next year we are again!!!
