NL It was a party again!
It felt familiar – and at the same time like a present – we were allowed again: working together during NL Doet! With our regular NL Doet- we have a team on Saturday 29 may have put our shoulders under some nice jobs.
Fortunately, we had beautiful weather and so the space to keep the appropriate distance. After the welcome coffee we went to work in three shifts. A team went to work removing a large pile of branches in a beautiful stretched wooded bank. Another team removed emerging oak trees in the food forest, so that the food forest we planted, gets air again.
Finally, the third team, working together, has a beautiful bench around the robust plane tree (on the lawn at Bieduinenhof) made. This bench could be realized thanks to the contribution from the deposit campaign of the Albert Heijn in Putte and a contribution from NL Doet. Super, we are very happy with it!!
At lunchtime, the residents of the kitchen team had prepared a fantastic meal, this was highly appreciated by all participants. We could then complete the jobs in peace and quiet with a tour of the site where we could take another look at the works from previous years.. (And many strong stories were told ;))
It was a beautiful day – and a result we are proud of. We hope to meet again next year.... Then you participate too?
